Color Image Compression with Different Algorithms of Wavelet Transform

Color Digital Images require huge storage and transmission resources. Moreover downloading and uploading of these images in internet requires high time. Therefore, image compression is very important and reduces the time required for these requirements. This paper gives the review of various algorithm of image compression based on wavelet transform. The performance of various algorithm based on wavelet transform is evaluated in this paper. Keywords— CR, BPP, Image Compression, PSNR.
